The Poison Love band was  on stage in The Backyard Park last Saturday even with the crappy weather and gave an amazing performance! The weather could not keep them away and the JEMS group was grateful! 

This Friday night JEMS is hosting another Free  outdoor movie,” Frozen”,  at The Backyard Park (21 Lovett Lane, Jeffersonville) with Butch and his Petting Zoo, games, and fun before the movie. The gates open at 6:30 pm and the movie starts at dusk. A tent and chairs will be provided. Children will be given their own coupon to use at the Concession stand that offers delicious hot dogs, fresh popped popcorn, and lots of other goodies. Bring your family and friends to enjoy this fun night out while you support the JEMS beautification group!

The Delaware Youth Center is holding their Annual DYC River Race on Sunday, July 20. The DYC is  located at 8 Creamery Road in Callicoon. A scenic run/walk along the Delaware River that’s part cardio, part community, and 100% awesome. A Free T-shirt to the first 400 registered! There will be awards for top runners & walkers in all age groups, bagels &  fruit after the event, and great raffle prizes that includes 2 Day Passes to LEGOLAND NY! Registration: 5K Run/Walk $35 &  10K Run $40. Schedule: Club runners 8:15am, Fun runners 8:18am, Walkers/Families/Strollers 8:22am. Come out and support their biggest fundraiser for the DYC – keeping sports, swim lessons, playground fun, pickleball, and more for the entire community.

The Jeff Bank is selling donation cards to help raise money on behalf of CARE (Catskill Animal Rescue, Inc.) through August 8. Please stop in any of their branches in their  Sullivan County Offices to donate, helping our rescues being loved and taken care of  by the amazing CARE group.

The Western Sullivan Public Library (Jeffersonville Branch)invites  you to join them for “Board Game Days” Saturday, July 26, from 10am-1pm. Fun games in the community room that will include UNO, chess, checkers, Cranium, Scrabble, Trivia Pursuit, and more! You can also bring your own board/card games to play and share with others. Be sure to visit the Jeffersonville Farmer’s Market on Sunday’s from 10am-1pm in the Jeff Bake Shop gardens. They feature a kid’s tent, live music, and the best vendors around. It is kid-friendly, dog friendly and always a good time!
