Alyssa Adams was busy placing some amazing photographs throughout Main Street Jeff for the 2026 Jeff Foto Fest taking place October 1–18. Town has been beautified with photographs displayed in local businesses, storefront windows, restaurants, public spaces and fences/gates. Thank you to Alyssa and everyone involved for this amazing project!

Tomorrow the First Presbyterian Church of Jeffersonville (located at 4907 State Route, Jeffersonville) is having a Yard Sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Proceeds to benefit the Jeffersonville Food Pantry. Please come out to support them and find something you need to take home!

The Western Sullivan Public Library is having a Community Diaper Drive during October to support local families. You can drop off your donation of unopened diapers, helping to make a difference for families in our community. Diapers can be left at any of their branches. Sizes 3-7 are especially needed. Every donation helps!

Scarecrows are popping up all over Main Street! There are some really neat scarecrows that show people have a great imagination. Attached to the Scarecrows is a QR code that leads you to Solstice and Ash Mystic Shoppe’s Facebook page. The JEMS group is having Trick ‘r Treat again this year in The Backyard Park (located at 21 Lovett Lane) on Saturday, October 31 beginning at 4 p.m. They are looking for some ghosts, ghouls, witches and any other creatures that would like to participate in this family fun by parking within the park, decorating your vehicle and handing out candy. Dance to DJ Jim’s music and take pictures too! Their concession stand will be open with everything only a $1.00!

 The Jeffersonville Fire Department is having their delicious Annual Roast Beef Dinner on Saturday, October 17 from 4 – 7 p.m. – Takeouts only for $20.  No advance tickets are being sold.  Come out and support your volunteers!

Deer are all over! They don’t know what a speeding car can do so please be careful and slow down especially at dusk when they are hard to see. A few extra seconds could save a life. When a deer stops to eat, drink, or rest in your yard, they feel safe – their whole life is spent watching for danger. And if they are at your house, they are away from a road….
