And just like that, school is officially out for the Summer! Let the long days begin. Our kids are in numerous camps and activities locally this Summer and they are very excited to take the much-needed break from school.

There are many activities that are happening in and about our community in the upcoming weeks. Have a look at a few below:

Looking for something to do on the Fourth of July? Narrowsburg will be the place to be with their annual fun day at Fireman’s Field from 3:30 – 8 PM. Food, carnival games, rides, entertainment and more! Last year was a huge success. Sponsors are still wanted.

The Jeffersonville Presbyterian Church is having a Penny Social on Saturday, July 29th. Doors open at 10:30 and calling is at 12:30. Admission is $1 and includes a drink and dessert. Refreshments will be available for purchase. Please contact (570)-903-7079 with any questions.

Hector’s Inn 9th Annual Car Show on Saturday, July 29th at noon. All vehicles are welcome. If it has wheels, bring it on in! No judging of cars, no entry fee. Just people with the same interests as you... here to share their cars and stories. No car, no worries... stop by to check out the vehicles and vendors; listen to the music. Food will be available. Free admission.

2023 Bowhunter Youth Camp will take place on July 8th and 9th from 9 AM – 5 PM. The Youth Bowhunter Camp is open to all youths ages 11 to 16 in DEC region 3 which includes Sullivan County. The 25th Annual Delaware Youth Center 5K/10K River Run & Walk is scheduled for Sunday, July 16. Not only does the race lead you along the gorgeous Delaware River that lends the youth center its name, it’s also our center’s biggest fundraiser. By signing up, you’re literally running to help us!
