NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

2022 TOWN OF LIBERTY PRELIMINARY BUDGET

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the 2022 Preliminary Budget and has been completed and filed in the Office of the Town Clerk, 120 North Main Street, Liberty, New York where it is available for public inspection from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Liberty will hold a Public Hearing on said 2022 Preliminary Budget on Monday, November 1, 2021 at 6:20 p.m. at the Senior Citizens Center, 119 North Main Street, Liberty, New York. All concerned citizens are invited to attend in person or via ZOOM and provide the Town Board with written and oral comments on the proposed 2022 Preliminary Budget.

Pursuant to Section 108 of the Town Law, the proposed salaries of the following Town Officers are hereby specified as follows:

Supervisor - $35,000

Four Councilpersons - $9,500 each

Town Clerk/Tax Collector - $56,577

Two Town Justices - $40,875 each

Highway Superintendent - $63,010
