LIBERTY — Liberty High School’s newest assistant principal began work Wednesday, September 13, a day after her approval by the Board of Education.

Nicole Molinaro is a lifelong resident of the Hudson Valley. She has an undergraduate degree in psychology and special education from Marist College, and a master’s degree from University at Albany in childhood education, as well as Liberty University for building leadership and supervision.

She is experienced in general and special education, working with students in grades 4 through 12. Most recently, she was an assistant principal, supervising a cohort of about 470 students at Kingston High School.

She is a dedicated and passionate educator, eager to establish lasting relationships with the Liberty community and support the students within, she said. She promises to bring longevity and wants this to be her “home” for the remainder of her administrative career.

She said she looks  forward to being present and becoming a member of the Liberty community, a new home away from home.

She is married to her high school sweetheart, Eric, and they have two sons, Dray and Decker.
