On Friday morning, at approximately 10 a.m., the electric snapped off in Callicoon as a fallen tree hit a utility pole and caused an issue with a conductor, according to a NYSEG spokesman. NYSEG workers were also working at the local substation (above). Electric service returned at 11:40 a.m.
