LIVINGSTON MANOR -- The Wildcats defeated Chapel Field 42-28 in their regular season finale, giving them a perfect 6-0 record in the league. For the second consecutive season, the Livingston Manor Wildcats were undefeated against league opponents, and will have a rematch against Chapel Field on March 4 for the Section 9 Class D Championship at SUNY Sullivan.

The Wildcats continued their efficient down low offense, with Case LeRoy (11 points) and Connor Gorr (14 points) leading all scorers. The team played without their starting point guard and senior, Pat DiBartolo, who is recovering from an ankle injury. Austin Fulton ran the offense for most of the game, adding eight points and controlling the pace of the game.

Livingston Manor was able to take control of the game early, outscoring Chapel Field 23-13 in the first half, and continued to hold their lead throughout the second half. Chapel Field's erratic skip passing created open looks from beyond the arc, but they failed to capitalize on many of the opportunities.

When the two teams meet again in the section championship, it should create an interesting matchup, as the two teams play with such different styles.

“We have a good group of guys this year,” Wildcats Coach Adam Larson said after the win. “The big guys have been consistent and Austin Fulton stepped up in a big league game.”
