LIVINGSTON MANOR - Valley Table Magazine began Spring Hudson Valley Restaurant Week (HVRW) with a kick-off party hosted by Sullivan Catskills Visitors Association (SCVA) on Thursday, that was held at the Catskill Fly Fishing Museum in Livingston Manor.

Local restaurants provided samples of meals being offered during this year’s HVRW.

From March 20 through April 2, the event will spotlight more than 145 restaurants from Sullivan, Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Ulster, Orange, Greene, and Dutchess counties participating in this annual celebration.

A selection of the Sullivan County restaurants previewed dishes featured on their upcoming HVRW menu’s. These restaurants include Bixby’s Derby at the Kartrite Resort and Indoor Waterpark, Bernie’s Holiday Restaurant, The DeBruce, Catskill Provisions, the Conover Club at Callicoon Hills, the Cellaio and Lotus restaurants at Resorts World Catskills, Catskill Brewery, Tavern on Main, The Homestead Restaurant and Lounge at the Eldred Preserve, Blue Fox Motel, Kenoza Hall, Piccolo Paese, Seminary Hill Orchard and Cidery, The Arnold House, The Pickled Owl, and The Western Inn and Supper Club.

Today Media’s Hudson Valley division Group Publisher, Mike Martinelli, said “we are thrilled to have so many Sullivan Catskills restaurants participating again in this year’s Restaurant Week.”

“Once again, we’re offering four different price points which increases the number and variety of restaurants diners can choose from. The many restaurants participating in HVRW highlights the bounty of culinary greatness that our region has to offer,” Martinelli said.
