Lynda (Wilson) Schadel, 66, passed away on Friday, February 6, surrounded by the love of her family.

Lynda grew up in the Lake Huntington and Narrowsburg area, where she built the foundation of the kindness and warmth that would define her life. Those who knew her knew her heart- gentle, welcoming, and full of compassion.

Above all, Lynda loved her children: Lee Mosher (Vickie), Bryan Mosher (Crystal), Jean Mosher-Duffy (Chris), Russell Johnston (Heather), Catherine Johnston-Hazelrig (Bradley), Kasey Kratz (Frank), and Tommy Johnston. Being their mother was one of her greatest joys and proudest blessings. Her love only multiplied with the arrival of her 18 grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in her heart. She is also survived by her beloved brothers and sisters, along with many extended family members and dear friends who will cherish her memory.

Her legacy is one of compassion, generosity, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. The kindness she shared so freely will continue to live on through her family and all who were blessed to know her.

Services will be held on Sunday, February 15 in Norfolk, Virginia at Riddick Funeral Service.
