MOUNTAINDALE – In 2004, Barbara & Ken Schmitt commissioned Ann Krajewski to create a painting honoring the NY O&W Railroad that used to pass through the hamlet of Mountaindale.
The mural itself measured 12’ wide x 8’ high and was located near the site of the original train station. Unfortunately time and weather took its toll, and it was placed in storage. Butch Resnick decided to have it restored. Charlie Sanborn, Micheline Gingras, Raymon Elozua, Andy Mead and his crew, Travis & Victor all contributed their efforts and skills to its restoration.
What else is new?
