EAST FISHKILL–– Monti Panther wrestler Dion Knight won his first matchup in the tournament ultimately finishing 4-1 on the day. Knight came up short only in the the quarter finals  then rattled off three straight wins to place third. 

His teammate Scott Larusso won his first two matches of the day to reach the semi-finals. Larusso lost a hard fought match in the semi-finals and dropped a pair of matches to finish his day placing sixth in the tournament.

Monticello boys varsity wrestling will compete next, this Wednesday, December 18 in their home gym against Cornwall.
