NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

VILLAGE OF WURTSBORO ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that an application has been presented to the Village of Wurtsboro Zoning Board of Appeals by Stewart's Shops Corp. to demolish the existing convenience store and fueling stations, located at 175 Kingston Avenue (State Route 209), also known as Village of Wurtsboro tax map section 105, block 2, lot 5, and replace the convenience store with a larger building in a different location on the parcel with a new canopy and three fueling stations, in the Commercial (C-1) Zoning District. The applicant seeks site plan approval and a special use permit for the project, along with a lot coverage variance and area variances for dimensions of the parking spaces and a lot line adjustment.

THEREFORE, pursuant to the Village of Wurtsboro Zoning Law, the Zoning Board of Appeals for the Village of Wurtsboro will hold a public hearing on the aforesaid proposed action on June 16, 2021, at 7:00 p.m., at the Village of Wurtsboro Village Hall conference room, 7 Pennsylvania Avenue, Wurtsboro, New York 12790, at which time all interested persons will be heard.

The complete application and supporting documentation for the project is on file with the Village Clerk and is available for public review during normal business hours.

Written comments may be submitted by email to clerk@villageofwurtsboro.com or regular mail addressed to Zoning Board of Appeals, Po Box 157, Wurtsboro, New York 12790, and must be received by June 16, 2021, at 7:00pm.
