SULLIVAN COUNTY — The OCIAA Basketball Coaches Association announced their 2023-24 Boys Division All-Stars for the regular season on Tuesday.
The All-Stars, player of the year and coach of the year were voted on by coaches in each division. Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own players and only OCIAA players and coaches were considered for the selection according to the news release. Players were selected based on regular season performance, and the OCIAA office, coordinators and staff were not involved in the selection process.
There were no Sullivan County schools in Division I, but Monticello’s Christian Brown and Judah Brown were recognized in Division II.
Liberty’s Riley Totten was the lone Sullivan County All-Star in Division III.
Division IV features All-Stars from Fallsburg, Tri-Valley and Sullivan West. Fallsburg’s Donovan Hart and Isaiah Young, Tri-Valley’s Josh Fanslau, Matt Fanslau and Misha Khodakovski and Sullivan West’s Evan Ebert and Jacob Hubert all earned spots on the Division IV All-Star team.
Classes C and D were combined for the All-Stars. Livingston Manor Coach Charlie Hicks and S.S. Seward’s Bill Steele were Co-Coaches of the Year.
All-Stars included James Deyermond (Eldred), Trai Kaufmann (Eldred), Aiden Johnston (Livingston Manor), Ben Johnston (Livingston Manor) and Anthony Zamenick (Livingston Manor).
