LIBERTY — Sullivan County’s Department of Community Services is increasing the available times for walk-in service for those seeking mental health, substance use and/or other therapeutic assistance, starting April 3.

“Based on usage patterns and to better serve those who can’t or don’t want to wait for an appointment, the Department of Community Services will welcome walk-ins every Tuesday from late morning until 7 p.m.,” said Community Services Director Salif Banse. “And our Mental Health Clinic will continue to accept walk-ins every Thursday between 9 a.m. and noon.”

The Department of Community Services offers the following:

• Individual Psychotherapy

• Marital & Family Counseling

• Group Therapy (not offered during extended Tuesday hours)

• Medication Therapy

• Crisis Intervention/Outreach

• Court Evaluations

• Consultation & Education

• Case Management

• Anger Management

• Coordinated Children’s Services Initiative SPOA (Single Point of Access)
