Paint the Town, Hawley is happy to announce the winning artwork in our Viewer’s Choice voting is “Evening Ablaze” by artist Linda Murphy. This vibrant painting will be reproduced on one of our 22 banners. Our art-loving jury selected 21 stunning art images from an amazing assortment of 181 submitted images by 77 talented regional artists.  We then asked the public to choose, and received 351 online votes to decide on our 22nd banner. Thank you to everyone who voted!

We are pleased to announce the names of the artists whose art was selected for our banners – Deborah Hussung, Rip Bodman, Diane M Lyons Stout, Sondra Brooks, Bozena Janiszewski, Linda Murphy, Heather Lockwood, Lauren Kuhn, Shaun Walsh, Rachel Sebelist, Deanna Lamour, Barbara Morcerf, George Penyak, Thomas Colbert, Susan McClellan, Alison Warnock, Sue Stephan Foster, Judith Bodman, Erica Hart, Colleen Campbell, Victoria Sanok, Claire Shickora, Nancy Palubniak. We are keeping the art images confidential until the banners are installed in May such that the public can view and enjoy the beauty and creativity of our amazing artists.  We are planning an opening reception along with several artists events. In addition there will be a website with details about these individual artists and their art.
