Even though the rain has made its presence known, briefly disrupting plans all weekend, the flowers, leaves and other plants have been bathed in the much needed precipitation – giving way to a boost in blooming!
With the annual ‘revival’ of the trees, the color of the area is starting to take its place once again, and before you even realize it, it’ll be in full swing. So before we reach that apex of summer, here is your gentle reminder to enjoy the beautiful area we all share together. In other words, be sure to stop and smell the flowers.
It is easy to get caught up in all that is going on, especially with big events like Mother’s Day and Memorial Day just around the corner. One day bleeds into the next, and suddenly your garden is full and the time you told yourself you would set aside to remember and enjoy has fluttered away. Don’t let it happen!
There are many ways to reign in your spring. Go for an untimed walk, sit outside at your next visit to a restaurant, spend some time at the many gorgeous parks that are almost about to open for the season…just to name a few ideas.
You only get one spring a year. Make this one the best it can be, and soak it all in. Be like the flowers popping up all around you, and don’t waste even a single rainy day; the flowers are sure to breathe in each moment.
