Richard H. VanLoan, age 61, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Brooksville, Florida on March 15, 2024.

Richard was born in Liberty, NY on November 30, 1960. He was the son of the late Russell VanLoan Sr. and Edith Neimann VanLoan.

He attended Liberty High School. He was a past member of the White Sulphur Springs Fire Department and a former corrections officer at the Sullivan Correctional Facility.

Richard is survived by his mother, Edith of Elgin, SC, his daughter Samantha VanLoan of Brooksville, FL, his brothers Russell VanLoan Jr. (Kathy) of Conway, SC and Shawn VanLoan (Emily) of Elgin, SC and 1 niece and 4 nephews. He is predeceased by his father Russell VanLoan Sr.

There will be no services, cremation will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations in Richard’s name can be made to your local ASPCA.
