Robert “Bob” Maxwell Eronimous, 88, of Swan Lake, NY passed away on March 17, 2024 in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Bob graduated from Liberty High School, served in the US Army in Germany, and earned Architecture and Urban Planning degrees from Texas A&M. He served as Urban Planner and Community Development Director for the city of Binghamton, New York. He co-founded Root2 Architecture and Engineering in Endicott, NY and retired to Sunset Beach, NC.
Bob was actively involved in Tabernacle United Methodist Church in Binghamton and later at Seaside UMC in Sunset Beach, NC. He was a member of the Sertoma Club, Rotary International, and the Antique Auto Club of America (Iroquois Region) in Binghamton. In Sunset Beach he enjoyed volunteering at the museum of Coastal Carolina and at the Ingram planetarium. Bob was a skilled woodworker, draftsman, model maker, and a creative problem solver who was diligent in all his efforts.
Bob is predeceased by his parents Henrietta and Maxwell, and his second wife Marilyn (Gable Merchant). He is survived by his sons, Randy (Lynda) in Seattle, Kyle (Sanna) in Lake Worth, Kevin (Lori) in Denver, his stepdaughter Annette Tomlinson (Daniel) near Westhampton Beach, his first wife Phyllis, and his brother Thomas (Sally). He was Papa to seven grandchildren and two step-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed.

A celebration of Bob’s life will be held in the fall at Vestal Hills cemetery in Vestal, New York.
