Rosemary Ackerley Schofield, 66, of Port Orange, FL departed this world unexpectedly on July 17, 2025.  

Born November 12, 1958, she was the daughter of Carol Hook (Chet) and Archie Ackerley. She was raised by her parents and Grandparents Roger and Georgianna Ackerley.  

Rosemary leaves behind her love and longtime companion Joe Stubitz along with her sons Skye and Shaw Schofield, their spouses and her three grandchildren: Maylen, Sawyer, and Leo.  

She will be missed by her sisters; Brenda Crenshaw, Robin Kaylor, Sarah Hook, and Yvonne Coddington (Erik) as well as her brothers: Clinton Ackerley (Karla), Mark Hook (Cheryl) and Archie Ackerley. Rosemary also leaves her aunts, uncles, cousins, and 11 nieces and nephews.  

As per her wishes her ashes will be returned to her childhood home on Thunder Hill in Grahamsville, NY, on September 27, 2025, in a farewell celebration of life with her family and friends in attendance.
