SOUTH FALLSBURG - The Sullivan County Dramatic Workshop presents its second weekend of Frederick Knott’s “Wait Until Dark” - a psychological thriller in which a recently blinded woman is terrorized by a trio of thugs while they search for a heroin-stuffed doll they believe is in her basement apartment.
The nail-biting climax creates a gut-wrenching reaction not soon forgotten! Come see Ellie J. as the blind woman, Jesse Gambino, Tom Muller and Keith Prince as the thugs, as they enact this gripping drama. Keith Prince is the director. The producer is Dawn Perneszi. Grace Summa is the Technical Director. All work together to entertain you!
Performances are at the Rivoli Theatre, Main Street, South Fallsburg, Friday, May 20, and Saturday, May 21 at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 22, at 2:00 p.m. General admission is $15. Seniors, students and veterans is $12.
Following Sunday’s performance, you can participate in a private Q&A with the entire cast and crew. If you have questions like “What does it feel like to be blind?”, “How do you decide who to trust?”, you can pose them to any actor. If you have an interest in how a play becomes stage ready or if you want to ask how the actors get into their characters, you have the opportunity to participate by showing your paid ticket (can be from any previous performance). This is free; however, donations are appreciated.
