SULLIVAN COUNTY — The soccer playoffs started on Tuesday afternoon, and six teams across the county were in action the past few days. Four of the soccer squads have had their season come to an end, with Livingston Manor being the lone girls team still standing after a game. Liberty was scheduled to visit Beacon at 3 p.m. on Thursday, but details of the game were unavailable at press time.
The Sullivan West girls lost to Rhinebeck on Wednesday, the Tri-Valley girls lost to Pine Plains and Eldred’s girls lost to Livingston Manor.
Fallsburg lost 4-0 against O’Neill on Tuesday, bringing the Comets’ season to an end.
Volleyball brackets have yet to be announced, and football will kick off tonight with Tri-Valley traveling to Fallsburg for an early season rematch.
