WALNUT MOUNTAIN PARK — Enough trash to take up half the bed of a dump truck was collected and removed from Walnut Mountain Park in Liberty Wednesday morning thanks to the efforts of Suburban Propane Earth Month Litter Clean up.
Volunteers from Suburban Propane were joined by town officials and employees of the Parks and Recreation Department to partake in their ‘Go Green with Suburban Propane’ initiative. Starting at 8:30 a.m., the team swept over the public park picking up a variety of garbage left behind – leaving the area ready for warmer weather.
