Subzero Heroes event raises over $69K

The Hudson Valley Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association’s Subzero Heroes event saw 19 teams from across the region raise funds leading up to the main event, Saturday’s frigid plunge into Berean Lake in Highland.

More than $69,000 was raised this year, with three Sullivan County teams participating.

Team Strike Out Alz, which features Sullivan County residents from across the area, took first place raising over $14,000.

Resorts World Gives, which featured several employees from Resorts World Catskills in Monticello, took fourth place, raising over $5,000.

Also, Hector’s Inn took seventh raising over $2,600.

Strike Out Alz and Resorts World team members were on hand at Saturday’s snowy jump.
