Sullivan West Archery highlights a successful season

SYRACUSE – This year, the Sullivan West Archery Club sent 20 students to the 2026 NASP NYS Bullseye Tournament. This event was held in Syracuse and hosted 560 students. The top ten students and #1 ranked team in this tournament are awarded the opportunity to move on to compete in Kentucky at the NASP Eastern National Tournament in May. Sullivan West had several archers come close to advancing to the eastern nationals.

This season the team has worked diligently to improve their skill on the archery range. Practices were held at the Catskill Outdoorsman on Main Street, Jeffersonville.

Each practice Coach Scardino and Assistant Coach & Owner of the Catskill Outdoorsman, Ryan Terracciano, would see improvement from the students with each week leading up to the state tournament.  “Our team performed with determination and etiquette for this event and represented Sullivan West at the state level with dignity and respect. I’m proud to have taken 20 students to the state championship this year. As our season comes to a close, I am proud of the progress that the team has made this season, and we have our sights set on the Eastern Nationals next year,” said Scardino.
