ROCK HILL — On the evening of October 12 the Tau Chapter of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society welcomed their very own State Representative and friend, Joan Slagle, as speaker for the evening at their monthly chapter dinner held at Dutch’s Tavern & Cafe in Rock Hill, NY.

Joan served on various committees and boards throughout her teaching career in twelfth grade and at the collegiate level. She also made, and is continuing to make, significant contributions at the state level for the Delta Kappa Gamma Society as a current member of the Finance Committee.

Joan jovially reminded her sisters that evening that DKG affirms them as educators and has been doing so since 1952. The evening finished with coffee, tea and delicious desserts.

The Tau Chapter of DKG is looking forward to their upcoming meetings and a wonderful school year ahead.
