HARRIS – The Center for Discovery announced the appointment of Michael Dubilier as Chair of its Board of Directors, effective December 10, 2025. Dubilier succeeds Edward Sweeney, who has concluded his tenure as Board Chair after years of distinguished leadership and will continue serving as a member of the Board of Directors.
Dubilier first joined The Center for Discovery’s Board in 2019 and has played an active role during a period of significant growth and innovation for the organization. With more than four decades of experience in investment banking and private equity, he brings extensive financial expertise and governance experience to his new role as Chair.
Throughout his career, he has served on numerous corporate boards and currently serves on several, including Acrow Bridge, DC Safety, and Shaklee. He also serves as Vice Chairman of 50T Holdings and Chair of the investment committee of DanuVG. Dubilier holds degrees from Connecticut College and Thunderbird School of International Management and completed postgraduate studies in finance at New York University.
“We are thrilled to welcome Michael as our new Board Chair,” said Dr. Terry Hamlin, President and CEO of The Center for Discovery. “His strategic insight, financial acumen, and thoughtful leadership will be invaluable as we continue to expand our impact and strengthen our integrated model of care.”
Dubilier said, “I look forward to working alongside Dr. Hamlin and my fellow board members to further strengthen the organization’s impact and ensure its continued leadership in shaping the future of care.”
The organization also extends its deepest gratitude to Sweeney for his 15 years of service to the board to date, including nine years as Chair. Sweeney joined the board in 2011 and was elected Chair in 2016.
