MONTICELLO — Three Monticello Board of Education trustees earned some impressive accolades from the New York State School Boards Association ‘s (NYSSBA) Recognition Program
Adrianna Mayson-Greco was honored with a Level 2 Board Excellence Award
Wendy Galligan-Weiner was honored with a Level 3 Board Mastery Award.
Todd Grodin was honored with a Level 4 Lifetime Achievement Award. Level 4 is the highest award level in the program, and Mr. Grodin is only the second board member at Monticello Central School District to ever earn this distinction.
According to the organization’s website, NYSSBA’s Recognition Program acknowledges the extensive time and effort required of school board members who continually strive to expand their knowledge and skills for better board governance. NYSSBA members earn points for participating in NYSSBA training opportunities, including the Annual Convention and regional workshops, and for taking on board-related roles such as Board President and NYSSBA’s Advocacy Liaison.
We congratulate these trustees on earning these honors, and are grateful for the many hours they dedicate in volunteer service to our district.
