Timothy George Pellam of Old Forge formerly of Liberty, NY passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2024. He was 57.

He was the son of Joan Schrader Pellam and the late George A. Pellam, born on February 24, 1967, in Liberty, NY.

Tim was a graduate of Liberty High School, who then went to work for the Town of Liberty Highway Department. He was a dedicated employee for many years, retiring in 2021 after being the Superintendent from 1999-2021. Tim loved his retired life of having six Saturdays and one Sunday per week. He always liked to keep active; he was an avid hunter, enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing, and camping. When he wasn’t home, he could be found relaxing at hunting camp. He was one of the 10 founding members of the Fir Brook Hunting Camp in 1994, a place he loved more than anything. He was a 39-year member of the White Sulphur Fire Department, where he was a Past Commissioner and Chairman of the Board. He was an active player in the SCVFA Softball League where he played multiple positions, but his favorite position was 1st base with his amazing split. He loved his family and spent as much time with them as possible, one of his favorite things was being a Grampy. Tim loved his friends and would do anything for someone in need, he will be deeply missed by everyone that knew and loved him.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife Terri L. Pellam, his children Jessica Brown and her husband Jason, and Brett “Chubby” Fiske and his wife Aubreigh, and his mother Joan Pellam, his grandchildren Axel “Stud Muffin” Fiske, Arabella “Baby Girl” Fiske, and Cole “Colebeans” Brown, his sister Tammy Gibson and her husband Frank, his niece Kira Wolcott and her husband Eric and his great nieces Hailey and Cassie Wolcott, and a host of friends.

There will be a memorial celebration on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at the White Sulphur Spring Fire House, 3352 State Route 52, White Sulphur Springs, NY, from 3-6:00pm. There will be a Firematic Service at 3:30pm. In lieu of flowers donations in Tim’s name can be made to the White Sulphur Springs Fire Department, PO Box 86, White Sulphur Springs, NY 12787.
