This native of Hurleyville, and longtime resident of Glen Wild, died on Thursday, September 17, 2026 at age 82, at the Achieve Center for Nursing, where he succumbed to stomach cancer after a long battle with pain that started with Shingles. He was attended to there by a very loving, caring staff on 2W.

Those who knew Arnie, knew he was a very special person. Kind and gentle, talented and creative; all those he worked for knew he was one of a kind.

He left behind his children and grandson, Linda, John and Jake Kelly, and his wife of 38 years, Pamela Zaitchick.

Arnie had a farewell party on September 2nd, in lieu of a service now, attended by 30 of his loving friends.

Arrangements are honorably entrusted to the Joseph N. Garlick Funeral Home - 845-794-7474 or www.josephngarlickfuneralhome.com.
