YOUNGSVILLE – The Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting and grand opening event on Friday, March 1, for Upstate CPR’s latest location in the hamlet of Youngsville. 

Attendees were welcomed to explore the new state-of-the-art training facility, gaining valuable insights into the proper use of specialized equipment and meet with several members from local EMT facilities.

The state-of-the-art equipment utilized in all courses elevates the learning experience, allowing for hands-on practice and skill development. 

Their commitment to excellence is evident in every aspect of Upstate CPR’s operations, setting them apart from other schools and training sites, their website states. They emphasize that their dedication to providing top-quality programs in a clean and modern facility solidifies their reputation as a strong component in life-saving training, with the goal being that participants can trust that they will receive exceptional instruction and leave feeling confident in their ability to respond in any emergency situation.

“I think the event came out really great, I’d like to thank everybody for coming out,” said Norman Prentice of the Mountaindale Fire Department First Aid Squad.

Jaime Schmieser, the CEO of the Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce was also present to welcome Upstate CPR to the area and wish them the best of luck.

They are open seven days a week. Their hours are as follows:

Monday - 8 a.m. to Noon

Tuesday and Wednesday - 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. 

Thursday and Friday - 8 a.m. to Noon

Saturday and Sunday - 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
