We need to take mental health seriously

My 14 year old daughter who has mental health issues went to Garnet Hospital in Harris NY seeking help and they had us there for about two hours and finally we got to speak to the psych doctor and after all the explaining of all the situations we have going on they told me that they needed to speak with there “supervisor” to see if she would qualify for admission. Not even 5 minutes later they call me back and tell me she is being discharged. I don’t understand why our hospitals are not taking action on teen mental health. This is a problem in sullivan county and no one seems to have any care for this the governor wont fund any programs in Sullivan County for mental health. There are no hospitals around in sullivan county for teens to get proper care for mental health problems. What are the tax paying dollars going to? Does this governor care about teens in Sullivan County? I guess not. We need more hospitals for this not clinics that don’t help those who are suffering.
