Woodridge calls for increase in AIM funding

Posted

WOODRIDGE — The Village of Woodridge held its most recent Board meeting on Tuesday, February 20th to discuss the status of the Village. The meeting was packed with Village residents as well as Department Head members who were prepared to speak on potential conflicts. The Department Heads each got the opportunity to speak in front of a Village Board for 2024 as they all had no prominent problems that needed to be solved immediately.

Additionally, a resolution calling for an increase in AIM (Aid and Incentives for Municipalities) funding from New York State was passed by the board, as the amount has remained a stagnant $7,100 for the past 15 years across the state
