Armed robbery in Livingston Manor

LIVINGSTON MANOR -— According to New York State Police, an armed robbery occurred at the Dollar General at 100 Main Street in Livingston Manor yesterday morning, March 18, at 9:30 a.m. Public Information Officer, Trooper Steven Nevel said that a male suspect fled the scene. The investigation by State Police is ongoing. 

According to Sullivan County Undersheriff Eric Chaboty, Livingston Manor Central School District was in lockdown Monday morning due to the situation. Sullivan West Central School District was also placed under lock down due to close proximity, according to a letter put out by Superintendent Kathleen Bressler Monday morning. 

The Undersheriff also said that an armed robbery occurred on Sunday at the Sunoco gas station at 9 Pearl Street in Livingston Manor.
