WEST POINT -- The Section 9 indoor track season resumed this past weekend as county teams travelled to West Point. Sullivan West, Fallsburg and Monticello competed on Friday, while Eldred, Tri-Valley and Liberty showed their skills on Saturday.

Tri-Valley 45, Eldred 31

The Bears won a non-league game at home versus Eldred on Friday, 45-31. Noah Hendrickson and Austin Delaney scored 11 each for T-V, while Thomas Lynch added 10. Dylan Jennings and Jordan Reed scored 12 and nine points respectively.

Chester 62, Fallsburg 31

The Comets lost a tough league contest on the road to the Hambletonians, 62-31, on Friday.

W-Ville 65, Monticello 53

The Panthers were defeated 65-53 in a game against Washingtonville at Mount St. Mary's College on Sunday. Josh Gattling had 22 for Monticello.

Girls Basketball

Monticello 46, Eldred 34

The Lady Panthers won their second game of the season by defeating Eldred, 46-34, on Friday. Ahliyah Mota led the way for Monticello with 14 points. Jissela LaBuda scored 25 points for Eldred.
