ROSCOE – The Sullivan County Conservative Committee rallied in the push for securing votes in the upcoming elections at their dinner at the Rockland House.

Invited to speak were incumbent candidates, U.S. Congressman Marc Molinaro (NY-19) and New York State Senator Peter Oberacker (NY-51), as well as Camille O’Brien, who is looking to secure a seat in the Assembly for the 100th District, as current representative Aileen Gunther is not seeking reelection.

O’Brien said that New York is hurting and that with her experience, she knows how to find the solutions. Pivoting the conversation, the 100th Assembly District hopeful spoke on farm labor laws, the Sullivan County Drug Task Force and medicaid reimbursement.

Oberacker, who noted this year’s election as the one for the ages, highlighted the importance of focusing on public safety, sharing values of respectfulness and creating a united front, in addition to promoting economic resurgence in New York State to retain residents and keep business local.

Molinaro took the floor, noting that this election harbors an opportunity to connect with people as well as a chance to address a number of challenges, including Cashless Bail.
