FALLSBURG - At the Fallsburg Board of Education meeting on December 1, 2021, Superintendent of Schools Dr. Ivan Katz was honored to acknowledge five students, who had volunteered five hours of their time at Lighthouse Ministries on Sunday, November 21 to serve a special meal to our country’s veterans. “We value very highly the volunteer efforts of all school community members, especially our students,” said Dr. Katz. “The fact that the event involved the recognition of our veterans made it extra special.”

The Superintendent called each student up to receive a special certificate of recognition for their efforts. From BCES were Addison Alvarado, Annalise Clark and Avery Wall-Carty, and from the Junior/Senior High School were Angelina Alvarado and Jayden Johnson. Jayden was unable to make the presentation and will receive her certificate later on. Fallsburg Central School District is proud to honor these fine young people.
