Monticello – Local organizers of the Jeep Jamboree USA, a family-oriented off-road event held each Fall in the Monticello area, recently presented a $8,300 donation to the Trevor Loughlin Foundation, which raises funds for individuals battling acute catastrophic illnesses. Donation funds were raised during the event from selling shirts, donations for reserved registrations and an auction for donated items during the event.
The Catskills Jeep Jamboree is one of 35 events held across the U.S. each year for Jeep enthusiasts with approximately 160 Jeeps participating locally with over 300 people attending annually.
The Trevor Loughlin Foundation runs the R4 5k running race held each June which raises more than $60,000 each years for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Foundation and the R4 Patient Fund which assists local people with illness.
