The Jeff Jamboree last Saturday was the biggest and best with a beautiful sunny day! The Presbyterian Church reports it was one of their best pancake breakfasts ever and the Tractor Parade was so much fun being led by Grand Marshal Herm Herbert! I noticed many tractors were being driven by children with an adult assisting of course, except several early teens that did well by themselves. Wagons and/or carts were being pulled loaded with even more children! The band “Little Sparrow” was playing melodies all day that drifted throughout town setting up a relaxed fun-filled day while people wandered around visiting our vendors and demonstrators and other informative booths. Loved seeing the tables run by the young ladies with their handmade jewelry and much more. Many enjoyed Butch and his beautiful team of draft horses and ate delicious hot dogs at Oakie Pokies’ stand across the street.
