The Jeffersonville Fire Department’s Annual Roast Beef Dinner and Dance was a huge success! Thank you for coming out to support your volunteers while enjoying a delicious dinner and dance performed by “The Other Band.” Also, many thanks to all the men and women that worked to provide a great night!

Remember! Jeffersonville is the place to be on Halloween! Starting at 4 p.m. Start by making your way to “The Backyard Park” (21 Lovett Lane) for Haunted Houses, a fire pit poke and joke, show off your costume at the Double, double, toil and trouble Halloween Selfie Stage. Then travel down Lovett Lane to the Walk Bridge and go Trick or Treating throughout the Village, follow the luminaries to trick or treating and wander the wild woods seeking treats, but beware of the trick(sters). Roam Main Street taking in the decorations and treats offered throughout and, of course, do not leave out Trunk or Treating in Hughson Park (opposite Dollar General)! Most importantly, save your feet, have a seat, and ride the haunted Hayride to get from place to place (watch for “park here” signs on Main St. to access the Hayride). Lots of family fun!

Catskill Country Ceramics (located at 4852 State Route 52, Jeffersonville – same side and a few doors down from the Jeff Bank) is sponsoring their first “Big Open House” on Saturday, Nov. 4th from Noon to 6 p.m. Storewide discounts on bisque, paints, candles and more. Many items are below cost. Also, refreshments and free giveaways! Come on out, pick out some items to give as gifts at Christmas time, a birthday or just for you. Beginners can make an appointment with the owner, Pearl Gain for a fun class to learn to paint! FMI: Call Pearl 845-482-3651.

Don’t forget! The Youngsville Fire Department is hosting a comedy show on Veterans Day, November 11th and Veterans enter free. Pre-Sale tickets are $20 and at the door $25. Doors open at 5 p.m. with the show starting at 6:30 p.m. Adults only. To get tickets, stop at their firehouse on a Tuesday night, catch a fireman or ask at the Cacklin’ Hen.

A “Sip & Paint” is being held at White Sulphur Springs Inn on Wednesday, November 15th from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Enjoy a fun evening creating a fun painting hosted by local artist Kim M. Simmons. There is a choice of paintings – can be seen on Facebook under White Sulphur Springs Inn. Cost is $40 per person with all supplies provided. Reservations are required. Contact: kame4@hotmail.com, or text 201-655-1158.

Have a fun and safe Happy Halloween!
