I hope to see all of you at the Annual James Dworetsky Holiday Parade down Main Street Jeffersonville on Friday at 7 p.m. Before the Parade Santa and his helper will be at the Jeff Bake Shop from 4:30 to 6p.m. with gifts for the children! Lots of fun for the whole family!

The Sullivan West School will be conducting a “Holiday Toy Drive” for the children in the Sullivan West School District. The toy drive provides gifts for children in families that need help during the holiday season. If you would like to donate gifts, please bring them to the donation box located in the Elementary Lobby or to the SW High School by or before December 11th. If you are or know of a family that needs help this season, please contact Tara Brey at 845-4610, ext. 2259. Suggested items: board games, Legos, craft sets, footballs, basketballs (or other sports items), tween items (makeup and hair sets) and toys for children ages 1 to 4 years old, gloves, coats, pajamas, books, and anything that would be an appropriate gift for a child.

“Wingmom Catskills” is in partnership with the SWES-KC club for the Holiday Toy Drive. They will be providing complete meal baskets for all the families who are receiving toys and are seeking turkey and ham donations for the baskets. White Sulphur Springs United Methodist Women in Faith are having their Annual Holiday Bazaar on December 2nd from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the White Sulphur Springs Methodist Church (in the Social Hall. Come out and support them while enjoying homemade crafts, baked goods, friendship and more!

Go to the “Holiday Book Sale” sponsored by the Friends of the Western Sullivan Public Library (Jeffersonville branch on 19 Center Street) Saturday, December 2nd through December 9th during Library Hours. Saturday 10-2, Tuesday and Wednesday 10-8 and Thursday and Friday 10-6. FMI:845-482-4350.

Save the Date! The AOH Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade will be held on Saturday, March 16th at 1 p.m. They welcome all Fire Departments, Ambulance Corps/Rescue Units, Businesses floats and participation, kids’ groups, marchers, marching bands, dancers, antique car clubs, and veteran groups.  Lineup at Noon on Willy Avenue – Chapel Street is an “alcohol free” zone for the kids.  Call JP at 845-807-7980 for FMI.
