MONTICELLO – Last season told a different story. On August 12 of last year Bat Girls shutout L & B to steal the championship 16-15. The two teams are at the top of the league lineup and when they meet, spectators are in for an intense matchup. In a complete turnaround L & B Tack rallied to win the three-game series in the first two games, not leaving any room for chance. L & B took game one 17-16 on Tuesday evening, after a Monday cancellation, and finished off the Bat Girls 13-12 in game two on Wednesday. A Thursday night game was scheduled in the event the series went to all three games but in a close contest that went extra innings, L & B Tack outplayed the reigning champs to close out the series and seal their championship victory!
