MONTICELLO – In a complete shutout that ended after five innings, L & B Tack had their way with the Dutch’s, who failed to field a complete team on Monday night due to multiple injuries. Their absence was felt in the field as L & B took advantage of every defensive opening and never let off the gas. Dutch’s produced several offensive surges but didn’t have enough in the tank to convert their ambition into runs. L & B led the contest all five innings until the mercy rule was enforced and the scoreboard read 35-0. SCWSL Playoffs continue.
