It is the last week of August, and we are getting ready for school to start! I hope you were able to get to the Grahamsville Little World’s Fair this past weekend and visit with our local 4H youth that were showcasing their agriculture and livestock exhibits! It was so nice to see so many still exhibits and animals this year and the kids do an amazing job!

The Town of Cochecton Planning Board is holding a Public Hearing at the Town Hall on August 31st, at 7:30 p.m. concerning the Fosterdale -4 Corner Plaza project.  The formal Legal Notice will be printed in the River Reporter on August 17th and the 24th. The Town’s website also has the Legal Notice posted. Because everyone in our local area may not receive the River Reporter, is it possible for you to mention this event in your column? Everyone in the local area reads your column!

If you have questions, please contact Earl Bertsch, Chairman of the Planning Board at (845) 932-7973.
