This Spring certainly has been all over the place weather wise from rain, snow, gusting winds, and beautiful sunny days. We can’t wait for the steady sunny days to get out and walk, garden and do the Spring clean-up!

Please be advised the New York State Burn Ban is in effect from March 16 through May 14.

Spring Break for Sullivan West Central School District will run from March 29 through April 7, with students returning to school on Monday, April 8th.

The Cochecton Men’s Club will be hosting their Annual Easter Egg Hunt on March 30th at the Cochecton Men’s Club Sports Complex starting at 1:00 PM. Free hot dogs and treats- hope to see you all there.

There will be a Penny Social at the Lake Huntington Presbyterian Church on Saturday April 27. Doors open at 11:30am, Calling begins at 12:30pm. Hot dogs and soda for sale. Many great prices and raffles, fun for all.

There will be an opening for the captivating Metamorphosis exhibit on March 16th from 3-5p at the Arts Nest located in Lake Huntington. Prepare to be dazzled by the remarkable artworks that explore the theme of transformation in all its forms. From stunning visual displays to thought-provoking installations, this exhibit promises to inspire and captivate. Don’t miss the chance to immerse yourself in this unique artistic journey!

Save the date for another exciting event - the Plein Air Lake Huntington Event on April 20th from 10am to 2pm. Step into the picturesque outdoors and unleash your creativity amidst the beauty of nature.

The SUNY Sullivan Career Center is hosting a Career & Job Fair on Wednesday, March 27. The Career & Job Fair is open to students and the public, and organizers are inviting some of the largest local and regional employers to participate. Attendees are encouraged to dress professionally and bring their resumes. The Career & Job Fair takes place from 10 am–1 pm in the E Lobby on the SUNY Sullivan campus.
