Lorelei Ann Cook, 66, passed away in the early morning hours of August 12th, 2023 after complications from multiple strokes. She was greeted in heaven by many of her loved ones previously passed including her mother and father Randall and Ann Kiriakou, her sister Linda Kiriakou, her husband Clayton Cook, father-in-law Wesley Cook and many more. Hopefully, a few dearly departed dogs too.

Lorelei was a stay at home mother of 7. When she married Clayton, they each brought two kids of their own into the union and went on to have three more children. She loved baking and cooking for her family, friends, and neighbors.  We will surely miss her massive holiday dinners, pies, chocolate mayonnaise cake, apple cake, chocolate chip cookies, lasagna and chicken and dumplings. Her houseplants were always something to envy. If you ever had one on its last leg she would nurse it back to life. She loved her recliner and you could almost always find her watching Hallmark Christmas movies or Little House on the Prairie.

She is survived by her mother-in-law Elinor Cook, sons Apollo Rexford, Ryan Cook, and step-son Sean Cook.  Daughters, Alesia Kuratnick, Crystal Cook, Samantha Cook, and step-daughter Amanda Weed. She is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, brothers, and sisters, and brother-in-laws.

A graveside service only will be held at Westbrookville Cemetery in Wurtsboro, NY on August 27th, 2023 at 2:00pm.
