Roscoe Mountain Club, Roscoe Beer Company announce partnership

FREMONT  — The Roscoe Mountain Club (RMC) and the Roscoe Beer Company (RBC) have entered into a partnership, bringing award-winning libation offerings to the newly renovated resort.

“We’ve outgrown our space and are looking to expand with a new location for our fans to enjoy our award-winning brews,” Operations Manager of the Roscoe Beer Company Shannon Feeney said. “After more than a decade of successful events and festivals, we’re excited for the opportunity to grow.”

The Roscoe Mountain Club, which opened in the Spring of 2023 after a new ownership group took over the former Tenannah Lake Golf Course, has worked diligently to offer a property with year-round offerings to the community.

“The Roscoe Mountain Club has so much to offer, and we thought it would be great to bring Roscoe Beer to the club,” Feeney added.

Feeney, who has also taken on the role of General Manager at the Roscoe Mountain Club, emphasized that although RBC was expanding, it did not mean the end of their location on Rockland Road.

“We are currently, and will continue to, produce at our brewery as well as still be a spot for people to stop in, grab a 4-pack and growlers of their favorite brews,” Feeney explained. “The plan is to add another beautiful location to enjoy our beers and also to bring our festivals up here [RMC]. We need more space to do that and Roscoe Mountain Club has an unbeatable atmosphere and location perfect for just that.”

One of the first big joint events in this partnership will be this year’s Winterfest on January 27.

“We’ll have everything we’ve had in the past - but now bigger and better than ever before,” Feeney said.

The event will be hosted at Roscoe Mountain Club from 11-7 and will feature the ice rink, live ice carving and bonfires throughout the property, multiple locations for food and beverages, music, games, activities and more. There will be shuttles from the brewery to RMC throughout the day as well.

“It’ll be a great time to get out, have some fun and enjoy the fresh air,” Feeney said. “This expansion offers both businesses a chance to grow, and we’re excited to have Roscoe Mountain Club as a new location to drink our award-winning beer.”

Adding to the Arsenal

In their first year of operations, the Roscoe Mountain Club has been turning their vision of a year-round property into a reality.

The installation of a chilled/controlled ice rink for hockey, ice skating and events has already offered an opportunity that was previously unavailable in the area.

“We wanted to bring something to the area that they don’t currently have,” RMC General Manager Shannon Feeney said. “The ice rink will be utilized for hockey leagues and events. We’ll offer food, drinks and fire pits during events like Pucks and Pints and Open Skate.”

With the goal of offering opportunities to get out of the house, the Roscoe Mountain Club is also working on opening hiking trails around the property.

Another big step that the new ownership of Roscoe Mountain Club has taken to improve the property is the renovation of lodging.

From the Inn, with rooms which are newly renovated and perfect for 1-2 guests with king and double queen rooms and centrally located to all club amenities, to the Frankel House, which is located at the #1 tee box and can host families or small groups, there are some great places to stay on the property.

Other lodging on the property include Burt’s Lodge, a private five-bedroom house overlooking the mountains. There are also the Barn Suites, located above the lounge with private entrances and a central location to the club’s amenities, including a quick walk to the ice rink along the wooded trail.
