Robert T. Comfort, Jr., 80, of Liberty, NY passed away Saturday, April 13th, surrounded by his family. Robert was born May 26th, 1943, in Middletown to Robert Comfort, Sr and Ida Gould and was a long-time resident of Liberty. He was a mechanical whiz who could repair nearly anything from TVs to computers to video games.

He is survived by Sherrie, his wife of nearly 50 years, his daughters Krystal (John Conkling, grandson Grayson), Lee Fracasse, and Brenda Dunlap (Patrick Somers); his sons Robert R. Comfort and Gary Clark (Jennifer); and sister Elaine Godbey of West Virginia. He is further survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews and friends: he was loved by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
