The Smallwood Civic Associations’ 4th Annual Halloween Trick or Treat Walk last Saturday was one of the Town of Bethel Halloween Highlights. What a terrific event!

I was so pleased to participate along with my fellow Town Board Candidate, Lisa Schick. The event not only was blessed with wonderful weather and a terrific venue, but the participation was wonderful. Over 30 tables welcomed over 165 children decked out as their favorite characters. The “adult” participation rivaled the children’s get ups to say nothing of the festooned canine participants all enjoying an array of fabulous treats.

The day brought the Bethel Community together for fun, exercise and strengthened the sense of community that makes our town so very special.

A very special Thank You to the organizers, firefighters and, of course, the Bethel Constable team who made this day a very memorable event.

Can’t wait for next Halloween!
