LAKE HUNTINGTON – Friday Night Lights turned into Wednesday Night Lights for the Sullivan West Bulldogs as they hosted rival Ellenville for their home opener of the 2026 season.

Led by a senior-heavy roster, the Bulldogs raced out to a 32-0 lead enroute to an impressive 56-18 win.

Senior Quarterback Jesse Milk had a big night, both running and passing, as he picked apart the Blue Devils defense in the first half.

One of his favorite targets was Todd Walter, who caught several passes and turned them into long gains for the Bulldogs’ high-powered offense.

One of the few highlights for the Ellenville squad was a 65-yard kickoff return in the second quarter by James Horvath IV, which brought the score to 32-6.

But it was the Bulldogs who were in control for most of the game.
