LOCH SHELDRAKE -- Both the Generals' men's and women's basketball teams earned road wins over the weekend. The Lady Generals bested Mercyhurst 96-51 for their fourth straight win to improve to 14-2, while the men beat Monroe Community College 76-66.
Adrienne Graves led the Lady Generals against Mercyhurts with 17 points, seven rebounds, and 4 assists, while Johnahyah Curry scored 17 off the bench. The Lady Generals are back home on Thursday when they host North Country CC at 7 p.m.
As for the Generals' showdown with Monroe, they rallied in the second half despite trailing by one in halftime, for the victory. They were led by Jalen Reneau and Darius Lee. Reneau tallied 22 points, 6 assists, 5 steals, and 3 rebounds, while Darius Lee earned his fourth double-double of the year with 13 points and 12 rebounds.
The Generals next game is next Tuesday at Dutchess County Community College.

Monticello 70, Warwick 64
The Panthers took down Warwick, 70-64, in a league game in the Pit on Friday.The score was tied at 31 at the half and Monticello lead 53-47 at the end of the 3rd. Monticello's Josh Gattling has 24 points and 8 rebounds, Jordan Ruggiero had 13 points and 6 assists, Trevon Gray finished with 11 points, and Damorn Hall-Rucker had 10 points and 12 rebounds.
Liberty 58, Roscoe 30
The Indians dominated Roscoe on Friday, winning by 28. Kymanni Dennis and Nasir Gibbs scored 21 and 16 respectively.
S.S. Seward 52, Eldred 28
The Spartans defeated Eldred on Friday. Jordan Reed scored 13 for the Yellowjackets. Eldred fell to Chapel Field, 43-33, the night before, with Dylan Jennings leading them in scoring with 11 points.
Chester 67, T-V 24
Chester's Kevin Stein joined the 1,000-point club as the Hambletonians made easy work of the visiting Bears. Thomas Lynch led T-V with eight points.
Girls Basketball
Monticello 43, Port Jervis 23
The Lady Panthers beat Port Jervis by 20 in a league contest last week. Aaliyah Mota scored 14 points for Monticello, while Ahliyah Hart had 13 points.
Chester 57, Fallsburg 36
The Lady Comets fell at home to Chester on Friday, 57-36. Ashley Grande had 14 points, Essence Jackson had 10 points and 12 rebounds and Shauna Bellacicco scored five points and had 10 rebounds. The Lady Comets were also bested by O'Neill last Thursday.
